No Call Out Charge !!
Sometimes an Appliance just
can't be repaired, sometimes I will advise you, that it would not be
sensible to repair it. Or maybe you just don't want to go ahead with
the repair. No problem, in that case, all I
will charge you is a around £20** to cover my diagnosis, time and travel.
**Repairs to Integrated or Build in appliances, are charged at a different rate** Please see the section further down this page for full details.
My aim is to charge you at least 50%Less than.
Here are Some Examples Of my Work and What You Can Expect When You Call Me.
Your Beko Washing Machine is washing, but not always spinning.
You have checked the filter, but it's clear. I check it and find a typical Beko fault. The sump hose breather pipe is blocked. I clear it, charge you £19.00 and leave your Beko Washing Machine working perfectly.Calling a Beko Engineer would have cost you £76.
Another Example.
You have a Hoover Washing
Machine which is noisy when it's spinning. I check it and find a
cracked support spring. I replace the faulty spring
and give your machine a complete check over.You Pay £38.00 all in,
including the price of the part. That is £67.00 cheaper than calling
out a Hoover Engineer.
Another Example.
Your Bosch Washing Machine is
spinning ok, but the clothes are not as dry as they should be. I
check it and find there is a blocked sump hose, blocked filter and fractured wire to the Pcb (Printed circuit board).
I complete the repair for £49.00. You just saved £54.00. Calling a Bosch Engineer would have cost you around £93.00 plus vat.
Creda Tumble Dryer
The Dryer is going through the cycle ok, but not blowing any hot air or drying the clothes.
Common problem with Tumble Dryers.
The machine has sensed an overheat and to prevent a fire, it has shut down the heating element.
I re-set the thermostats and clean out all the built up fluff that caused the problem. I leave your Dryer working perfectly. My charge is £35. Saving you over £70.00. Hotpoint or Creda (same company) would charge you a minimum of £105.00
Integrated/Built In Dishwasher
Your Integrated/Built In Dishwasher is working, but the dishes are still dirty.
Very typical Dishwasher problem.
All the Supermarket additives in the world won't fix this fault.
It's either blocked spray arms, a blocked or clogged filter or a sump return hose clogged up.
Typical Dishwasher problem.
The return pipe in the bottom of the machine is blocked, I strip down the bottom access panel to remove/clean and replace the pipe. Your Dishwasher will run just like new. I charge you £45.
Calling a Company Engineer would cost you around £93.00.
In this example I would have saved you over £40.00.
Hours I Work.
Monday to Friday. 8am to 7.30pm.
Saturday. 8am to 5pm.
Closed Sunday.
I think I need a day off, but if it's a case of "The Kids Uniforms are Stuck in the Washing Machine" or such like. Call me and I will do whatever I can.

Why the extra charges to repair Integrated and Build in Appliances?
It just takes so much more work to remove them and put them back exactly right. 9 times out of 10 they have been fitted as part of a new kitchen. Many are fitted wrong and this makes it very hard to Remove/Re-fit them correctly.
What If I Can't Repair It?
If I have spent time working on your Built in/Integrated appliance and it then turns out that.
Either the appliance can't be repaired.
It would cost too much to repair it.
I advise you not to have it repaired.
Or you decide not to go ahead with the repair.
